Marketing Intern (3 Months)

About Stichting Genevieve Murphy

Stichting Genevieve Murphy supports the artistic work of Genevieve Murphy, with a focus on experimental pop music, interdisciplinary performance, and innovative artistic projects. The foundation develops and presents artistic work across music, performance, digital platforms, and live events. Genevieve is a composer, performer and bag-piper. One of the projects developed within the stichting is Genevieve’s band, Her Secret State.

We are looking for a creative and proactive Marketing Intern to support our online presence and audience development for the band, Her Secret State and the album release happening in Feb 2027.

What You Will Do

As Marketing Intern, you will help manage and grow the foundation’s digital presence – with a particular emphasis on creating a campaign for the album release. Your responsibilities will include:

– Managing and planning content for Instagram, in dialogue with Genevieve and Isobel
– Creating and scheduling social media posts, stories, and reels
– Supporting the visual styling and consistency of online communications
– Updating and maintaining artist profiles on Spotify and SoundCloud
– Monitoring engagement and suggesting ways to grow audiences
– Supporting general marketing and communication activities as needed

Who We Are Looking For

You are:

– Interested in music, arts, and culture
– Some knowledge of releasing new music
– Enthusiastic about experimental pop music and contemporary artistic practices
– Familiar with Instagram and current social media trends
– Comfortable working with visual content and basic graphic design tools
– Organised, independent, and proactive
– Online communications are in english
